Geraldine Downey is Professor of Psychology at Columbia University. She directs the Columbia University Center for Justice, which is committed to reducing mass incarceration. Her research on the causes and consequences of social exclusion and rejection is internationally recognized. She is currently collaborating with the Fortune Society on investigating the stigma of having a criminal record on job interview performance.
